My daughter and I had a 2 night stay at this amazing little find. Excellent location. Lovely service, so friendly and polite. The room was compact and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom clean. The shower was lovely. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night but the noise from the bar below was not too loud. This place is now our go to for London stays, heartily recommended. Thank you for such a lovely stay.
Stayed for 4 nights. The staff especially the manager is super friendly , professional and takes care of all of your needs. Remember your special request and make it all seem like unaffordable. The pan and the rooms are really cool designed. The rooms are spotless and has cleaning service daily although we do t find it even needed. Very recommendable to stay
The people who run this place are fantastic. They made me feel so welcome. Rooms are comfortable and clean if a bit shabby, but who goes to London to sit in their room? The pub is full of fun friendly people and congeniality of the hosts more than made up for any wonky curtains or similar. I will stay here again on my next visit.
Stayed here for one night and loved it! This place has the most friendly staff you will ever meet, and the atmosphere is great. The rooms are newly refurbished, and the beds are comfortable. There is a nice selection of beers in the bar, and you can get some nice dinner as well. If I'm ever in London again, this is where I will stay!
The best thing about my visit to London. S/O to the friendly awesome reception guy. My room was clean bed sheets and toilet also. I was looking for an air-conditioned room near to the (barbershop, Laundry service, groceries and restaurants) and l got lucky with this hotel. Definitely,It will be my first option when visiting London next time.
I had read some negative reviews on Google and was a bit worried but, in fact, the small hotel/pub is charming and clean with good food and beer in a casual but warm environment. The room is very small but in great shape and with a great rainshower plus handheld showerhead in the compact but spotless bathroom. HVAC is new and perfect. We visited on some of the hottest days in London and, if anything, the HVAC had to be "toned down" a bit. Rooms have maid service and linen changes daily. But the absolute highlight is Bhagrav; the manager for three years. We were nearly 3 hours delayed, arriving at midnight, and Bhagrav was right there with a smile and every possible offer of help. This was his mode thru the entire stay: offering help and helpful information and always greeting us with a warm smile. Its a small hotel and, as is typical with this genre, there's no elevator, just FYI. Even so, Bhagrav offered to carry our luggage at entry opportunity. We declined but appreciated the offer, definitely. Location is between Marble Arch and Regent's Park. Bfast isn't provided ... there are some old mentions of that ... but Black Sheep Coffee opens at 7 and is just 2 mins walkaway with bfast sandwiches, muffins, etc. At 8 Boxcar Cafe opens with some unique and tasty options!
The Duke Rooms Hotel is a lovely place to stay. The bed and pillows are exceptionally comfortable, and both the room and bathroom were pretty clean. Note that the hotel does not have an elevator, so it's best to travel light. That said, the staff at the bar are very helpful and will gladly assist you if needed. The location is convenient, with a subway station and a regional train station within a 10-minute walk. The bar offers quite nice drinks and menus. One issue I encountered in room 302 was with the plug sockets next to the bed—they didn’t work properly. I had to secure my charger with external support, as the sockets seemed loose and unstable.
Our room exceeded my expectations. It was very super, there was enough space for the two of us, we moved comfortably, there was enough space for suitcases as well. Everything was great, if I visit London again, I will come here again. The staff was very nice, everything we could talk to was informative, we were able to occupy the room earlier, which was very pleasant because it went well after a long journey.
